bTrees is a hobby grower, breeder, and self-aware pollen chucker based out of Monmouth County, New Jersey, focused on experimental crosses, natural farming techniques, and plants built to survive.
The project leans into living soil, native soil inputs, IMO/indigenous microbes, and low-intervention growing methods that let the strongest plants prove themselves. Rather than chasing hype alone, bTrees looks for vigor, resilience, structure, flavor, and personality: the kind of traits that show up when genetics are tested in real garden conditions.
bTrees is also the creator of GrowmiesNJ, a New Jersey growers collective built to connect local breeders, collectors, and plant people through small-batch drops, community, and shared grow culture.
This is small-batch, hands-on seed work rooted in curiosity, local soil, and grower culture. Every cross is part experiment, part selection project, and part “let’s see what happens”, made for people who enjoy the hunt as much as the finished result.
